Lapse focuses on turning long screen sessions into compact visual progress updates.

The product surface is intentionally small: start recording, keep working, and export a shareable timelapse without babysitting settings.

Technical implementation uses Electron for cross-platform desktop capabilities, React for the UI, and native screen capture APIs for efficient recording.

Design challenge: balancing performance (capturing at 1fps intervals) with smooth playback and export quality.
